The Epicentre facility is unique. We occupy a 5,600 square foot facility that includes a multipurpose room/performance venue for 525 people, full digital recording studio running ProTools HD, a concert stage, a multimedia computer lab and also serves as a gathering place for youth.
Epicentre programs are built on technology, music, and culture. Each offers a blend of business, entrepreneurship, education, community service, arts, recreation, and socialization opportunities - in a safe and fun environment where teens and adults support each other.
Monday Fun Days at the Epicentre
Got a case of “the Mondays”? Tired of cooking dinner? Come to the Epicentre Monday evenings to sample some of the best Food Truck cuisine available in the San Diego area. Each Monday evening, we host local food trucks that have agreed to give Epicentre 10% of their proceeds from the night. Cuisines featured may include: Korean BBQ, Italian, Traditional American BBQ, desserts, Americana, and much more!
When: Mondays, 5:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Outside of the Epicentre @ 8450 Mira Mesa Blvd. 92126 (across from Mira Mesa High School)
Admission is free, the food is delicious, & the company is great!
Youth Programs & Enrichment Activities
Our teens have a safe place to gather with friends, take performance and visual arts classes, learn techniques in modern music and explore their creative abilities in a structured environment. Our new Computer Lab offers youth a place to do homework assignments. Leadership & volunteer opportunities are available to prepare them for success in the future. Epicentre also has foosball, ping pong and pool tables for local youth to enjoy.
We are open Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Youth Leadership Opportunities
Epicentre offers many opportunities for youth to get involved in their community and develop leadership skills. Here are two of Epicentre’s advisory councils where you can learn valuable skills and meet new people while giving of your time. Teen Advisory Council - Epicentre is looking for motivated teen members to help develop future programs & events. The Council presently meets on Thursdays at 3:00pm. Flyer Application

Music Venue Council - Epicentre is accepting youth participants for the Music Venue Council. We want to hear your ideas about the music industry.
- Provide a voice for San Diego teens regarding music featured at Epicentre.
- Suggest ideas for future concerts.
- Create marketing materials for Epicentre concerts and update marquees on site.
- Learn behind-the-scenes activities that take place during concerts.
- Attend Epicentre concerts for free.
- Fulfills community service hours.

Epicentre is also an all-age music venue that is dedicated to discovering the underground music talent from San Diego and throughout the country. We have an excellent sound system and stage, a maximum capacity of 525, and an awesome staff. We produce between 1 - 4 shows per week, occurring Thursday through Sunday. Show times vary, but doors are usually open from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

Booking Your Band - Want to play at a well known all-age music venue in San Diego? Then Epicentre is the place for you! To book your band at Epicentre, please send us a press packet that includes the following:
- A few songs on CD
- Contact information including your name, phone number, and email
- Links to websites associated with your band
Send in your press packet by mail, email, or drop it off at Epicentre, then follow up in two weeks.

Protools HD Recording Studio - Epicentre offers a 24-track digital recording studio with all the fixins.’ If you have beats or a song ready and you are looking to record, give us a call. We are also capable of doing LIVE sound recordings. If your band is booking a show at Epicentre and would like it recorded, please mention it to our booking staff for live performance recording packages. Student rates available.
