Harmonium provided an all day workshop to high school district staff in El Cajon regarding working effectively with high school youth. The staff received training on how to use effective communication techniques working with at risk adolescents, and how to create an effective learning environment within their classrooms. After the training, teachers reported feeling more empowered to work with difficult students due to skills gained from the training.

The San Diego community continues to support the achievements of the 10 teens that created the art recycling company "Eco-Eventerprise". The business, which makes centerpieces and other event decorations made of recycled materials will compete in Washington D.C. for Junior Achievement's "Company of the Year."  They will be the only team from California and the West Coast at the July event.
